Micro hardness tester, Model HVS-1000A from Banbros Engineering is a new type of hardness tester equipped with new features such as RS232 interface, automatic turret, high level LCD display, etc. It is specially suited for measuring the micro hardness of thin, small metal test pieces and the brittle materials. It can be used to determine the Vickers hardness of steel, non-ferrous metals, ceramics, treated layers of metal surface and the hardness grads of nitride and hardened layers of metals. It is also suitable to determine the Vickers hardness of micro and super thin parts.
