Yokogawa Blue Star Ltd, a leading name in Process Control Instrumentation, has recently added a Paperless Recorder to its existing range of industrial and laboratory recorders. This new generation, computer compatible, zero maintenance recorder is intended to simplify daily maintenance, inspection and makes recording chart and ink redundant. This paperless recorder has a colour LCD TFT type display of 5.5" size and 320 x 240 pixels resolution for real time data display. The panel size is 144 mm x 144 mm. The portable version of this model is also available. The recorder supports 4/6 universal channel inputs from TC, RTD, DC voltage and contact signal. The main features of the unit are: analogue trend and digital value display; versatile alarm functions; engineering value display; time and date display; and historical data display. A 3.5" floppy is also built in for data storage. The data can also be ported to user"s PC for waveform display and further analysis and conversion into Lotus 1-2-3, Excel and ASCII formats for processing.
