Beacon Industrial Electronics Pvt Ltd offers the Litemark range of Indicators, a revolutionary development in analogue voltmeters and ammeters. The moving coil or moving iron movement used in normal instruments is replaced by the all static system. The delicate parts used in movements such as pointer, hair springs, jewel bearing and pivot are all eliminated. In fact Litemark indicator has no moving parts. The pointer is replaced by bright LED lamps that indicate current or voltage as marking on the dial when lit. Litemark indicator even supersedes the recently developed movement wherein a stepper motor is used to drive the pointer on the indicator scale. Although the stepper motor gives increased torque to the indicator pointer, it is still not as sturdy and vibration proof as the Litemark indicators. One great advantage of this indicator is its high linearity and accuracy. The high linearity allows all indicators to have uniform scale and does not need scales individually marked for higher accuracy. The accuracy is as good as digital indicator with plus/minus one division of the scale. Other advantages include: dial is visible in dark, does not need illuminating the dial; response time of the indicator is less than 100 mS; good for mounting in places where it is subjected to vibrations and rough use; ideal for use on vehicles; basic current and voltage of indicator is as low as 0-1 mA and 0-100 mV making it quite sensitive; can be adopted for measuring pressure, temperature, speed, pH, etc., with suitable transducers; and can have a built-in 4 to 20 mA transmitter that can supply external output of 4 to 20 mA for load up to 400 ohms in two wire systems. Litemark indicators are made in two versions: (1) With dial in white background; and (2) Dial with black back-ground.
