Orbital Systems offers Industrial Digital Readouts, VD3, manufactured by Elap SpA, Italy. These readouts are high performance units and have carry the`CE' certificate. They are available in standard DIN size (48 x 96 mm). The readouts are available in various models to read process variables such as voltage, current, resistance, pressure, position, RPM, etc. They are equipped with special feature of a proportional output of 0-10 volts or 4-20 mA signal. This finds application in process control plants where the VD3 is mounted on the remote panel close to the process variable and the proportional signal is transmitted to the PLC at the control room. Other Elap products include digital linear transducers, non-contact linear transducers, linear potentiometers, rotary potentiometers, digital indicators, positions, counters and controllers.
