Alarm Annunciator

JVS Electronics Pvt Ltd offers an Alarm Annunciator, Model JAV 014. Salient features: sequence selection according to ISA standards; trip and non-trip selection; built-in push button for test, silence, accept and reset functions; RS 485 communication port (optional); AC/DC fail indication (optional); and repeat alarm contact (optional). Applications: used for annunciation of different parameters and status in a system. Description: J-watch micro-processor based annunciator is of modular design with uniform depth and height for the entire range of 4 to 24 windows annunciators. JAV 014 provides programmable trip/non trip and NO/NC selection for the each window through DIP switches. Trip/non trip selection can be performed through the DIP switches in the front panel of the unit. NO/NC selection can be performed by the DIP switches at the rear end of the unit. A set of built in push buttons for test, silence, accept and reset functions are provided in front panel of the unit. Terminals are also provided to connect external push buttons for remote operation as and when required. The windows are lit by red super bright LEDs. Yellow, amber, green or blue LED with colour filters can also be provided on specific request. RS485 communicable port with data acquisition and control software can be provided as optional feature. Auxiliary DC supply failure to the annunciator can be displayed in window designated as "DC fail annunciation" as an optional feature. A separate DC sensing card with mounting arrangement is provided which can be housed inside the control panel. Repeat alarm contact (1NO output) for each window can be provided as optional feature. Technical data: auxiliary supply – 20-60 V DC or; 75-150 V AC/DC or 185 to 300 V AC/DC; initiation – potential free NO/NC contact; flash rate – about 60 flashes per minute for fast flash; response time – about 30 flashes per minute for slow flash; display – 20 ms (maximum); window display – super bright LEDs, red as standard (amber, green, yellow or blue as optional); window display – photo negative or computer generated transparency; dimension of window – 64 x 23 mm (W x H) display area; burden auxiliary supply – < 1 W per window; output contact rating – 5A at 24 V DC/230 V AC (1 NO – trip, 1 NO – non trip); and contact rating of repeat alarm relay – 10 A at 24 V AC/230 V AC.
