A Programmable Adjustable Spindle Position Indicator in Network

IVO Irion & Vosseler GmbH has developed a position indicator for spindle position, a solution for various.processing steps which can be programmed and connected to network. In addition, a hollow shaft transmitter and a counter are combined in a unit and is provided with net workable interfaces. From a PC 3 1, spindle adjustment positions can be monitored which are installed on the shaft ends of the spindle. All values can be read on the face of a five digit-seven segments luminescent diode indicator, The indicator is driven via a hollow shaft of 20 mm diameter. The resolution amounts to 50 impulses per rotation at a maximum of 600 RPM.
