TANK LEVEL INDICATORS, VERTICALLY MOUNTED CAGE TYPE

Sigma Instruments offers Liquid Level Switches. It is of vertically mounted cage type. It is of simple construction. It is safe and easy to install. It is widely used for various applications. It requires no maintenance. Principle of operation: when liquid level drops a set value, the float lowers bringing down along with it the magnetic sleeve away from the magnetic field of the permanent magnet. The magnet, which is spring, loaded, swings away from the non-magnetic enclosing tube. This swinging action actuates the switch to indicate low level of the liquid. As the liquid level rises by a small value, the differential, the magnet is attracted back to its original position by the sleeve. The swinging of the magnet once again actuates the switch. For high level actuation similar action takes place in reverse direction. Other models available are: threaded mounting of the housing with chamber; explosion proof housing/ side connection with vent plug; weather proof double conduit flanged side-side with vent plug; single conduit weather proof-with cooling fins-flanged side bottom connection.
