Steam/ Gas flow meter

Steam/gas flow meter is an axial turbine flow meter, based on the principle of Fluxi meter - a principle universally accepted for the measurement of steam/gas. The flow meter is designed at pressure associated with transmission and distribution system for the gas and steam. The meters are hermitically sealed in the centre, to prevent the escapement of gas/steam, and thermally compensated to suit high temperature. Indication is by means of a mechanical and magnetic drive, to a direct reading index. The turbine rotates at a speed, which is proportional to the velocity of the gas through the measuring sections, and this section being constant, the turbine speed is proportional to the volume. The meter has 6" (150 mm)) easy-to-read dial, either vertical or horizontal, central reset pointer, and cyclometric cumulative totaliser. Applications are in almost all the industries like petrochemicals, paper and pulp, fertilisers, cement, sugar, etc.
