SIGHT FLOW INDICATORS

Dip-Flon Engineering & Co offers Sight Flow Indicators. It is fluoropolymer lined. It is used for handling any corrosive fluid or combination of corrosive/ aggressive fluid up to 20°C. It can be used to observe flow and colour of corrosive fluids during the process. It is equipped with two heavy pyrex tempered and polished glass windows. The sight flow indicator has a SG iron housing. All the wetted components of the indicator are lined in one-piece with fluoro-polymers, typically, perfluoroalkoxy (PFA), fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) and polypropylene (PP) with thickness of over 4 mm. Drip lips are also provided with sight flow indicators. Drip lip of polytetrafluoro ethylene (PTFE) is generally suggested in the sight flow indicator, where because of small quantity of liquid in line, it is difficult to determine if flow is present. The indicator collects the liquid and allows it to spill from the drip lip, which is located as the centre of the glass. Drip lips can only be used in vertical liners.
