Level Transmitter With Alarm

Switzer Instrument offers Flexicap K-5730 Level Meter, which is a micro controller based, RF capacitance type instrument for liquids, slurries and bulk solid applications. The sensing probe excited with an RF signal produces a change in capacitance when the material level changes, resulting in change in frequency, which is converted to an accurate level reading for measurement and control. The most important feature is full calibration with only one level change of 5 per cent of span without completely emptying or filling up the vessel. Besides 4-20 mA and 1-5 V DC outputs, 4 relays with differential adjustment are available. 5-relay sequences programmed in the instrument, facilitate independent or group operation of the relays to meet a variety of alarm and controls. A tactile keypad and 8-character alphanumeric LCD display provide for easy calibration, modification of measuring units, relay operation and delay time. A RS-232C serial port enables remote programming through a PC and to save the programmed data in the PC. A 20-segment bar graph and a 3-digit LCD display indicate the level, LEDs are provided for indicating the status of power and relays.
