Glass tube rotameter with flow switch

Glass tube rotameter is basically a variable area flow meter. The differential pressure across the annulus area is constant and the flow rate is measured as the function of the annulus area. This area is displayed as the position of float. Tansa Equipments has developed a flow switch, which is mounted on the rotameter. The position of the switch can be adjusted over entire length of the scale. The switch is provided with a controller unit. The unique facility available in this control unit is "Hold On" contacts. As soon as the float crosses the set position the signal received by the switches is sent to the control unit, where the change over contacts get activated. As long as the float is in the upper limit of the set point, the contact remains in changed conditions. The rotameter is manufactured as per client"s specification; suitable for the operating condition, with various materials such as MS/SS304/SS316/PTFE lined/PP and HDPE lined, and line sizes from 15 NB to 80 NB.
