Flow Monitor

ETA's new Flow Monitor is designed to respond and switch in under one second. The new SW112 miniature flow monitor from ETA is suitable for applications where constant monitoring of air or inert gas flow is essential. Designed to respond in less than 1 second when flow rates fall below a preset minimum, the SW112 is a self-contained sensor with integral electronic circuitry. Deviation in flow is signalled by means of a relay output which can be connected to an alarm, visual display unit, or computerised process control equipment. It is also ideal for use in HVAC (heating, ventilating and airconditioning) and gas applications where the continuous flow of air and inert gases is imperative. Additionally, its operation is largely independent of pipe diameter. It operates on the calorimetric principle which reduces wear and ensures the unit is ideal for use in air and gas flow systems that could contain dust or other small particles. An LED is provided to indicate the status of the internal relay. Two types of mounting arrangements are available - a flange, supplied as a standard part of the unit, or a PG cable gland, available as an accessory. The input voltage is AC/DC 24 V.
