Flowmate 145 from Cosmic Technologies is a truly versatile panel mounted instrument designed for flow application. It can accept a variety of input signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 V DC, or pulse input from any kind of field mounted flow transmitter. For input from DP transmitter, the signal processing can be programmed to square-rooted function with programmable cut-off. The 96 x 96 mm instrument is equipped with a large graphic LCD screen which displays six-digit instantaneous flow rate with a programmable span range of 0~999999 and on-screen configurable units display. It has two totalisers, one a 8-digit batch totaliser, and another 10 digit cumulative totaliser. Both flow and total can be displayed with programmable decimal resolution. Reverse flow and totalise functionality is a standard feature. The interface is menu based, with separate two levels of password security for the user and instrument configuration. The units can be calibrated via front panel?no internal trim pots to adjust. An exclusive feature of the instrument is that it has a graphical trend monitor with a programmable sample interval. A relay output is available which is assignable to Hi/Lo flow or ?target-total achieved? for batching or dosing applications. Latched, self-reset or delayed reset modes are selectable for easy control implementation. 24 V DC power supply for transmitter or pulse input sensor is a built-in standard feature. Optional: isolated linear 4-20 mA retransmission signal for remote indication; and serial communication interface ? RS485 with MODBUS protocol.
