Flow Switches (Flame & Explosion-Proof)

Flow switches (flameproof and explosion-proof) from A. Bill are designed to detect positively the flow in a pipeline when the same exceeds or declines beyond the preset limits. Applications include to give audio-visual alarms for critical flow or to trip motors, fans, burners, pumps; for flow in a pipeline which is in hazardous area and mediums covering IS:2148-1968, Groups IIA and IIB. The flow switches are of packless construction which isolates the switch compartment from process fluids and pressure in the pipeline. The actuation of switch is triggered off through break or make of permanent magnetic field eliminating mechanical connection between pressure compartment and switch compartment. The range of flow switches covers 25 mm (1") to 400 mm (16") and operating range is from 100 cc to 10 LPM. The mechanisms can be of microswitch, mercury switch, or pneumatic switch. A wide range of materials of construction can be offered to suit specific applications like corrosive fluids, high pressures or varying temperatures.
