Toshbro Controls offers the Nivomag™ series of electromagnetic Flow Meters of proven reliability and performance in measuring flow of various liquids and slurries – from potable water to corrosive acids and alkalies. Salient features of Nivomag series: obstruction less and hence no pressure drop; unaffected by corrosiveness, viscosity and density; bi-directional flow measurement; built-in totaliser for volume flow measurement; remote monitoring; and fully welded construction. These flow meters are backed by a manufacturing facility certified as per ISO 9001: 2000, and R&D department recognised by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt of India. The flow meters are also designed as per international design and certified for CE (EU norms), FM (US norms) and RoHS (EU norms). Wide applicability: the Nivomag series are available with a wide range of lining and electrode materials to meet the needs of any application. Linings: PTFE – corrosive and high temperature applications; hard rubber – water applications; and soft rubber – abrasive applications. The electrodes are in SS316, SS316L, hastalloy ‘C’, titanium, monel and platinum. Brief specifications: sizes – 10 to 600 NB; accuracy – better than ±0.5% OR; outputs – 4-20 mA, pulse, frequency, relays; minimum conductivity – 5 microsiemens/cm; process temperature – +150°C max; and protection – IP67 and optional IP68. Applications: liquids – potable water, raw water, chilled water, beverages, juices; corrosive liquids – acids, alkalis, chemical solutions; and slurries and pastes – coal slurry, sugar syrup, effluents, sewage, and molasses.
