Float Switch, Miniature Horizontal

Shridhan International has introduced a miniature horizontal float switch, an import substitution product for the hydraulic machine tool, chemical and other industries. This has greatly simplified the problem of sensing in liquid storage vessels. This horizontal float switch consists of a fixed stem to which a cylindrical float is hinged and the float moves up and down along with the liquid level. A permanent magnet housed in the float actuates and deactuates the hermetically sealed reed switch located in the stem as the liquid level rises and falls. This switch can be used either to close on rising liquid level or to close on failing liquid level depending on mounting position.
