Float Switch, Horizontal

Shridhan offers horizontal float switch used to sense the level of liquid in storage and process tanks. The switch is mounted from side of the tank horizontally. It has a pivoted float assembly with tail piece at the end which carries a magnet. When the float moves up with liquid level the tail piece moves down and vice-versa. The magnet in the tail piece, by principle of repulsion, pushes a magnet present inside the float switch enclosure (body). This magnet operates a micro switch present inside the enclosure. Repulsive principle makes or breaks the micro switch by snap action. This ensures longer life of contacts and are extremely reliable. The switch has a flange for mounting and is suitable for fixing on the nozzle with studs/bolts and nuts. It is available with all the wetted parts made of SS 304. For acids, alkalies and food grade liquids, parts madeof SS 316 can be provided. The switch comes with a standard pivoted float assembly length of 220 mm. The length can be increased with extension rod for installation on long nozzles. It can also be provided with bent extension rod and adjustable differential for special applications.
