Delta Tube is a low cost, low maintenance and a highly accurate flow sensor for use on liquid, gas and steam flow lines manufactured with technical know-how from Mid-West Instrument. Whatever be your flow application, installing this simple and efficient flow element will provide high long-term accuracy, low permanent pressure loss, low installation and operating costs for energy savings and years of trouble-free operation. Features Offers a uniform accuracy of ? 1% of actual flow and there is no long term drift in accuracy due to lack of moving parts and simplicity in design. * Rangeability is high due to a very high turn down ratio of 4:1 * Probes with retractable facility facilitates on-line maintenance without any process shut-down. * Suitable for circular pipes from 1/2" to 72" as standard and for line sizes above 72" available on request as specials. * Special Models (Model 307 and Model 308) for square, rectangular or circular ducts with length or width or dia. ranging from 6" to 72" as standard and upto 144" as specials are available on requirement. * No wear and tear due to absence of moving parts * Important aspect of all would be the energy saving aspect since it offers a very low permanent pressure loss i.e. maximum pressure loss is lesser than 5% of the differential pressure generated by the flow element. This leads to a low consumption of energy for operating prime movers like fans, pumps etc., and thereby ensuring lower operating costs.
