Tester For Scsi Cable Assemblies

Paralan Corporation introduce the SCSI Cable Tester for the testing of SCSI cable assemblies. Continuity test alone are insufficient to qualify SCSI cable assemblies. Complete testing should include a test for the correct connection of twisted pairs. In the cable, twisted pairs must be matched with the correct SCSI signal pairs, otherwise it is possible to have SCSI signals placed on wires that are not in the same twisted pair. This will cause cross talk with resultant SCSI errors. The continuity test and twisted pair integrity test can be performed on a SCSI cable assembly in about ten seconds.
