Silica Analysers

Forbes Marshall offers Silica Analyser, Silkostat 9210. This is a microprocessor based single/multi-channel silica analyser. It uses the conventional silica molybdenum blue colour method detected by a photometer at 820 nm in the IR spectrum. Background correction is provided through a reference beam split from the same beam. The IR source is a constant energy LED compared to the outdated Halogen lamp systems with IR filters which subject to drifts and requires frequent replacements. Features: measuring range of 0-1000ppb/0-5000ppb, measurement cycle of only 9 min, no cross contamination between two different channels, automatic two point calibration to get best accuracy, separate current output for every channel, lowest reagent consumption just 2 liters per 45 days, locally available reagents hence low recurring cost, no need of peristaltic pump tubes/ No need of instrument air, facility to do grab sample analysis, graphical trend of each channel with internal data logger, auto diagnostic features makes it easy for maintenance.
