Weld Gauge

Kristeel Shinwa offers a range of Weld Gauges, which gives complete weld measurement solution to customers. These gauges are used to measure the important dimensions of weld preparation and of complete butt and fillet welds. These gauges rapidly measure angle preparation, excess weld metal, fillet weld leg length, throat length, misalignment and hole sixes for butt weld, butt-weld reinforcement. Bridge Cam Weld Gauge: This rugged gauge is fabricated in stainless steel used to measure the important dimensions of weld preparation and of completed butt and fillet welds. It is intended for general fabrication work in the shop or on-site. It rapidly measures angle preparation (0 to 60 degree), excess weld metal, fillet weld leg length, throat length, misalignment and hole sizes for butt weld, butt-weld reinforcement, general linear measurement up to 60 mm or 2 inches. Scales are graduated in Metric units and supplied in a preventive case with instruction leaflet. Automatic Weld Gauge: This rugged gauge fabricated in stainless steel, will measure the important dimensions of weld preparations and of completed butt and fillet welds. It is intended for general fabrication work in the shop or on-site and rapidly measures weld features like tolerance of convexity, tolerance of reinforcement, concavity and under fill, to determine size of fillet weld. The scales are graduated in Metric units. It is packed in a protective case and an instruction leaflet is provided. Leaf Type Weld Fillet Gauge (7 Leaves): The 7 leaves type weld fillet gauge is useful for the inspection of conclave and convex fillet welds. This gauge allows fast and accurate measurement of eleven (11) fillet weld sizes like 1/8, 3/16, 0.25, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 0.50, 5/8, 0.75, 7/8 and 1, and their Metric equivalent to determine weld sizes, either conclave or convex. Each gauge blade is made of 1.25” x 4” cold rolled stainless steel to resist rust and bending. Blades are deburred to remove the rough edges. All the sizes and numerals are chemically etched permanently. The set of eleven blades comes in a handy pocket case with the user manual weighing only 4 oz. The 7 leaves weld fillet gauge is easy to use. Gauge blade must be flush to the base material with the tip touching the vertical member. For measuring convex welds use the single arc corners & for conclave welds use double arc corners respectively. Multi Purpose Weld Fillet Gauge: This is a versatile tool for the use of welding operator. This tool can be used with ease for weld joint preparatory functions as well as for checking of weld joint. The tool combines a bore gauge, angle gauge, depth gauge 7 weld height gauge. The tool is made in stainless steel with polish finish.
