Contech Instruments, established in 1992, began with manufacturing precision instruments. With over 1,00,000 balances working through out the country, it controls a very sizeable percentage of this market segment today. The company commenced commercial production of precision electronic balances based on EMFC technique (Electro-Magnetic Field Compensation) in early 1993. Subsequently it has diversified into manufacturing of load cell based weighing machines. Features of table top electronic weighing scales: elegant plastic moulded enclosure; individual keys and moulded keys tops for greater keyboard reliability; multiple weighing units, gram, kilo gram, carat, tola, litre, pound, piece counting facility, up to 25 different types; storage of weights in memory and printing, up to 100 weights; power saving mode; bi-directional RS232 interface to interface with computers and printers; selectable baud rate; auto power off; peak hold facility; date and time facility; multiple print options with Sr. No., date, time and weight in horizontal/vertical mode; automatic zero tracking; and user selectable tare/zero mode option with net/gross facility for minimum use.
