Plating Thickness Tester

Kiran Electronics offers PTT-ECO, a versatile and sophisticated instrument for the measurement of plating on ferrous, non-ferrous and non-metals. It fulfils a long standing need on the market for an economic cost, reliable and accurate plating thickness measuring instrument, with all plating/base combination (PBC) in one instrument. There is no separate cost for each PBC plug. A destructive type instrument, it works on coulometric principle, ASTM specifications B504, B298, B355 and ISO standard 2177, and simple to operate. Specifications: supply voltage – 240V (±10%), 50 Hz AC, 10 VA; accuracy – ±0.5 microns up to 15 microns and ±5% above 15 microns; readability – 0.1 micron; area of deplating – 1.5 mm dia gasket; and electrolyte – approx 2 cc/measurement.
