Length measuring system

TMC Measuring Instruments, in Mumbai, offers a universal length measuring system, Model DMS 680, from Joint Instruments, Italy. This is a high precision, PC based machine for calibration of plug and ring gauges, plain and taper thread plug and ring gauges, snap gauges, gauge blocks, external and internal micrometers, dial indicators, electronic probes and involute profile spline gauges. DMS 680 fully complies with Abbe's comparator principle and it equipped with high accuracy Heidenhain glass scale, adjustable work table for easy location of inversion point, etc. The measuring range for external is 680 mm and for internal 1-480 mm with a resolution of 0.1 mm (0.01 mm optional). "Micronet" gauge management and measurement software comes as standard with the machine. The software fulfils ISO 9000 requirement. It fully guides the operator through all calibration procedures, does automatic tolerances calculation for plain, thread and thread pipe (taper) gauge, both internal and external as per ANSI/ASME standards. Complete gauge records can be maintained including calibration date, location, cost centre with sorting by above criteria or by code. At the end of any measurement procedure, the software allows to automatically print an inspection report containing gauge data, theoretical and actual measurement values.
