Coating Thickness Measuring Instrument

AA Industries have developed Coatmeasure-M, an electronic digital coating thickness measuring instrument for non-magnetic coatings on magnetic base. It is ideal for coatings on MS (ferrous base). Coating thickness is sensed by a probe working on electric induction magnet principle. It has a range of 0-1000 microns with resolution of 1 micron and accuracy of 1 micron or 2%. Calibration with testfoils is easy by Zero and CAL buttons. It is very easy to use and can be used on plane, convex and concave surfaces. The probe is spring loaded having a V-groove for cylindrical parts. The instrument has auto-off facility to save battery (6F22 9 V). An MS test piece is provided with the instrument to check the instrument's working.
