Coating Thickness Measuring Instrument

Coatmeasure-C measures thickness of non-conductive coating on conductive base. It is a digital electronic gauge with a range of 0-600 microns, resolution of 1 micron and the accuracy to 2% of readings (or 2 microns). It is useful for coatings of paints, varnishes, phosphates, PTFE, enamel, glass, rubber, FRP, etc, on MS, SS, Brass, aluminium, and anodizing of aluminium. Calibration is easy with Zero and Cal knobs. Test foils and testpiece are supplied with the instrument. The instrument has spring loaded probe for constant force. The probe dia is 21 mm and it has a V-groove for cylindrical parts. The instrument works on 9 V battery. It indicates when the battery is low, and has auto-off to prolong the battery life. Instrument is offered with a warranty of one year. Its size is 155 x 85 x 40 mm, and the weight 250 g.
