Hi-Tech Systems & Services offers an Ultrasonic Inspection Device, Ultraprobe 10,000. This is the world’s most advanced ultrasonic inspection device that can put the operator in complete control of condition monitoring program. This handheld equipment enables the user to record and analyse sound samples, perform condition analysis, store test data, trend results, review inspection results and manage test data – all at the push of a button. The system includes both Ultratrend DMs and UE Spectralyser software and allows to select any of 6 applications – generic, leaks, valves, bearings, electrical or steam; it also accepts and stores data from external devices such as thermometers and tachometers. Typical Ultraprobe applications: the system can perform – Data based mechanical inspection/trending – bearing and rubbing conditions; cavitation – gears/gearboxes; pumps/motors; and lack of lubrication; Data based leak detection/energy audits – compressed air and gases (O2, NO, etc), vacuum leaks, seals and gaskets, condenser tubes, cockpit windows, hatches, boilers, heat exchangers, valves, steam traps; and Data based electrical inspection –arcing, tracking, corona, switchgear, transformers, insulators, relays and bus bars.
