Ultrasonic Inspection Systems

NDT Technologies offers Ultrasonic Inspection System. This is used for material reliability control using microprocessor-based technologies and interactive graphics. NDT supplies equipment and specialised technical services to the transportation, aerospace, light and heavy manufacturing, defence, steel-making, nuclear and material processing industries. The ultrasonic inspection system is based on transmission of acoustic waves into material under test. The wave energy is converted into mechanical vibrations in the material where the travelling wave is reflected from internal anomalies back to the transmitter or probe. Upon the return wave interaction with the probe a small amount of electrical energy is generated. This energy is amplified and evaluated in relation to the known artificial target. The method is highly suitable for automation.
