VJT's pipeline crawler brings together over 20 years of specialised NDT skills and leading-edge technologies to create a revolutionary new real-time pipeline inspection unit. The benefits of using X-ray technology versus other inspection technologies are many; X-ray systems can detect numerous dense contaminants within the product that are not detectable by other means. The compact crawler unit utilises VJT proprietary state-of-the-art digital linear array and source monoblocks, which provide stability and efficiency up to 250 kV in hot or cold operating environments. The system delivers sharp 1:1 magnification images providing a full 360 degree view for the first time. Designed for all-weather conditions, the crawler provides reliability and versatility with minimal pipe preparation. The system works without exposure to hazardous radioactive isotopes.
