Online-Thermography Inspection System

The online-thermography inspection system is used for the detection of internal defects. It comprises a conveyor belt, a heating source, a thermographic camera and a computer. By moving the object with the conveyor belt beneath the heat source, the surface is gently heated up by a few degrees. The delaminations are detected with the thermographic camera by observing the temperature of the surface. With this technique even large objects can be completely inspected in an industrial online process. The results can serve as a full object inspection or as process control.
