NDT Inspection Systems

TesTex offers NDT Inspection System, Eagle 2000 Plus. It is a multi-channel ND inspection system. It is based on the remote field electromagnetic technique to quickly and accurately inspect ferrous metal tubing from the tube ID. This system normally has 8 channels for detecting baffle cutting, cracking, fret wear/vibration, pitting, erosion, corrosion, overheating, soot blower and flue gas thinning. The system does not require couplant or permanent magnets, which allow for 100 per cent inspection of the tube circumference with minimal, tube preparation. Advantages: inspects bends and u-bends; wide frequency range 5Hz to 30KHz; fill factor not critical; low signal to noise ratio; probe size ranges from 0.320" (8.1 mm) to 6" (152 mm); probe lengths of up to 150" (45 m); inspects through ID or OD scale; small modular PC based design; Windows-based software; and 110/220 V operation. Applications: boiler generating banks tubes, air heaters, heat exchangers, air coolers fin fan units, short run piping, and virtually any tubular based equipment.
