Inverted Metallurgical Microscope

The inverted metallurgical microscope has been designed and conceived keeping in mind the growing need for quality assurance in the mechanical industry. The instrument is made in aluminium alloy casting with ergonomically placed controls for focusing and specimen manipulation on the X/Y axis. The viewing head is a Seidentopf type binocular, viewing angle is 450 inclined, interpupillary distance is 50-75 mm and comes with an optional trinocular port complete with adaptor for fixing of digital camera. Illumination is Kohler illumination using a single white LED with adjustable brightness with aperture iris diaphragm and field iris diaphragm. Power supply can be anywhere between 85 V to 265 V. The polariser and analyser can be moved in/out of the optical path. The instrument can be provided with a whole array of optics, cameras, software and illumination system. The objectives are high resolution plan achromatic, high resolution plan apochromatic and high resolution ultra long working distance plan apochromatic.
