Industrial Inspection System

Microwave Vision Group (MVG), UK, has launched Dentro LRX, an Industrial Inspection System, for delivering continuous insulation production line inspection. Dentro LRX is a rugged version, non destructive industrial inspection system which provides a full cross-sectional analysis of product quality on a continuous production line. Using microwave technology, Dentro LRX reveals material defects – like inclusions, humidity pockets, knots in wood, or leather hide and can be connected to a marking/ejection system so that products that do not meet quality requirements can be automatically marked/scrapped. Key points: contactless monitoring of the entire material; water, dust and temperature resistant; and operates with non-ionising microwave transmission. Key benefits: improves production process; peak performance in harsh environment; and easy and safe to operate. Discrepancies that can be detected: inhomogeneous areas in homogeneous materials; moisture pockets; solid objects; metal objects; bubbles and cavities; and leather hides. Material property measurement: density; and moisture.
