Calibration & Inspection Jig For Automobile Speedometer

Computer Controlls Corporation offers a calibration and inspection jig for automobile speedometer. There are two models of this equipment: one for the electronics type speedometer and another for the mechanical type driven by flexible cable. This equipment has manual and auto mode operations. In auto mode it outputs a set of frequencies or speeds from pre-programmed table with preset dwell and sweep times. Pressing up and down keys can change the frequency or the speed. For the electronic type model, this unit has output of frequencies ranging from 1 Hz to 10000 Hz with a resolution of 0.1 Hz and adjustable amplitude. For the mechanical type speedometer this unit uses a small DC servomotor, which drives a flexible cable of speedometer from 100 to 4000 RPM with an accuracy of ±1 RPM.
