Pune Techtrol Pvt Ltd offers Techtrol Tank Monitoring System for acids including 33% HCL. Every process engineer is aware that monitoring and control of 33% hydrochloric acid is a tricky job. Being highly reactive, fuming and with a relatively high dew point, it presents many challenges in handling and monitoring. The company now offers a cost effective and long term solution for monitoring all acids including 33% HCL, through use of system, comprising of level indicating controller in conjunction with high frequency radar transmitters.

The level indicating controllers are programmable and available in two options. The first option is model TLICP with 7-segment LED display for level indication and the second option is model TUIC with 2-line, 16-character LCD display for volume indication along with level. Both controllers are available with either or combined outputs, i.e., potential free relay contacts and 4-20 mA re-transmission. However, model TUIC can additionally provide digital communication RS485.

The high frequency radar transmitter is contact type (G-TROL) or non-contact type (IN-TROL). The contact type has a PTFE coated solid probe, suitable for range up to 6 mtr or PTFE coated flexible probe, suitable up to 30 mtr. Their output is 4-20 mA or HART+ 4-20 mA. The non-contact type has a sealed PVDF antenna, which does not come in contact with liquid and is suitable up to 20 mtr range. It can provide an output of 4-20 mA or HART+ 4-20 mA or RS485 Modbus. This monitoring arrangement supplied by us, has been successfully working in many companies for 33% HCL acid service.
