Century Metering Systems & Controls Pvt Ltd offers a Remote Monitoring System with GSM/GPRS, Model CMSC-7772. This remote monitoring system is a micro-controller based data acquisition system used in conjunction with solar inverters/UPS systems used mostly in telecom towers. The remote monitoring system unit measures various parameters like PV voltage and current, battery voltage and current both of which are galvanically isolated, panel temperature, and ambient temperature. inverter input and output AC parameters like voltage, current, power factor, power, frequency and kWh are measured by two separate DIN rail mountable units that are connected through RS-485 link. The remote monitoring system unit acquires the AC data on a regular basis through the RS-485 link. The unit has in-built flash memory that can store the data of up to 6 months and an EEPROM to store the fault events. It also comprises of an in-built GSM/GPRS module through which the measured data can be sent as SMS, Email and also to a server with static IP address. The phone numbers, email IDs can be programmed through SMS or through another RS-485 terminal using our PC user interface software. The PC user Interface software can also be used for on-site monitoring of measured data, downloading the stored data and plotting various graphs.
