The company offers ClimaCheck, a state-of-the-art Performance Analyser that can reduce energy consumption and obtain higher reliability with fewer repairs, through documented performance inspections in air conditioning and refrigeration processes. Performance analysis can be achieved with temporarily installed sensors during maintenance, or with permanently installed sensors that can be monitored continually or regularly. In addition, these can be used to send alarms in the case of refrigerant leakage, decreased compressor efficiency, fouled heat exchangers and so on. Early warnings make it possible to perform vital service before the system fails completely or capacity decreases sufficiently to interfere with production or human comfort. Almost 20 per cent of all electricity in the world is consumed by air conditioning and refrigeration processes. With proper performance inspections on all of Europe’s refrigeration plants, more than 45 TWh of electricity or 16 million tonnes of CO2 can be saved through “simple” adjustments. These potential savings can be pinpointed by the cost-effective ClimaCheck internal method. Performance inspection with the ClimaCheck internal method is carried out with the portable or permanently installed ClimaCheck performance analyser. This performance analyser is entirely unique because it is so simple to use and very quick to connect to existing system service connections. ClimaCheck then gathers all the necessary data for a complete evaluation and adjustment of the refrigeration process. The portable ClimaCheck solutions are used for key measurements and evaluation during service and inspection visits. Alternatively, the fixed ClimaCheck installation provides continuous monitoring over the Internet via Broadband/Ethernet connection or using the GPRS wireless system.
