Monitoring Systems For Products Stored In Tanks

CarboTrade (India), specialists for nitrogen generation plants and air dryers, has now developed Monitoring Systems by which tanks storing products in bulk prior to bottling like wine, fruit juices, edible oils can have an automatic system for better keepability of the product by ensuring a low level of oxygen in their headspace above liquid level in the storage tanks, and in the bulk liquids. The system offered senses the vapour space in tanks and through an analyser and automatically injects quantities of nitrogen, to ensure low levels of oxygen, which ensures higher keepability for the product then otherwise. The system is designed to minimise dissolved oxygen in the product, which also ensures improved keepability. The system works 24 x 7 without human supervision or intervention. These systems are relevant now that several companies are holding high stocks in bulk like in case of wine, fruit juices, edible oils, etc., waiting for the demand to pick up. It is less expensive than holding stocks in bottles.
