ShockWatch India offers Impact and Environmental Monitors for valuable products on their global journeys. The ShockLog product family consists of two recorders: 1. Shock Log RD 298 - User programmable impact scale range up to 400 events captured and additional sensor accessories; and 2. MicroShocklog RD 317 – fixed impact scale range up to 128 events captured and a smaller footprint. These have several unique features, making it especially suitable for applications in which the cost of exposure to out-of-specification environmental influences is very high. They are equally convenient for protecting high-value fixed or mobile installations, or characterizing shock and vibration during transportation. In normal operation, the device checks the output of the sensors continuously, and dynamically records any impact above a preset level. This dynamic reloading mode offers high-resolution data capture (up to 2048 Hz) and wake-up within 1.5 ms of exceeding the threshold. Optional accessories include an environmental indicator, and a remote accelerometer to record shock and vibration in areas away from where the device is mounted. Features of ShockLog and MicroShocklog: tri-axial piezo-electric accelerometers; self-contained unit – no cables or wires; user-programmable impact scale ranges (ShockLog – 1G, 3G, 10G, 30G, and 100G; Micro ShockLog – 10G and 100G); date and time stamping (ShockLog – up to 400 events/512 days; Micro ShockLog – up to 128 events); LED lights provide visual notification of alarm or warning conditions; password-protected software; IP67 rated RF screened; definable data collection frequencies; warning alarm levels correlated to user-definable impact scale ranges; programmable specific wake-up values maximize battery life; detailed certificate of calibration included — recalibration services provided by ShockWatch; and optional external sensors record temperature, humidity, and pressure. These shock recorders are used by over 80% of the transformer manufacturers across the globe to help study the shock and vibration their transformers receive while in transit.
