Mercury Electronics Private Limited offers Crimp Force Monitors, models CFM 4100 and CFM 4200. It can be configured easily to a full range of industry equipment such as bench presses and automatic wire cutting machines. The monitors are customised as one and two channel models. Simple operator interface with visual graphics for ease of use, multi-language configuration, and audible & visual failure indication are the main features of these monitors. When coupled with highly sensitive PBT Sensor technology, the monitoring capability on small gauge wire applications increases radically. The monitor uses leading sensor technology options combined with the most current micro- controller technology for detailed analysis of crimp signatures. Detectable Defects are: Missing wire strands, strands out of the core crimp, no strip, high/low insulation, missing terminal, twisted terminal, changes to crimp height and scrap material in the tooling.
