Vented Extruder with Hydraulic Screen Changer & Underwater Pelletier is suitable for pelletizing various types of polymers like PE, PP, PS, ABS, nylon, delrin, PC, etc. In prior art, for pelletizing these materials, a single screw extruder with a pelletizing die extruding continuous strands of molten plastic is used, with a long cooling tank for cooling these hot strands, then these strands are led through pelletier for continuous cutting of cooled strands to produce pellets.
