Steel Forgings

C D Industries has been in the forging industry since the last 5 decades, fully equipped to forge carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel items. The company can forge: flanges, rolls, crank shafts, rods, blocks, etc. It has an in-house workshop consisting of lathe machines, radial drills, planers, crank shaft grinder, etc; and in-house facility of heat treatment, viz., annealing, oil quenching, normalising, tempering, etc., with full temperature control along with chart print out. The company can forge items from 5 kg to 5000 kg, single piece. It can forge rings up to 2000 mm in diameter, and shafts up to 5 mtr in length. All the above items can be supplied in proof machined or finish machined condition. It can undertake products as per DIN, ASME, BS, BIS dimensional standards also or as per the drawings given by the customers. Approved by EIL for standard and non-standard flanges, the company is a well known “Forge Shop” approved by IBR, and ISO from LRQA under the “ISO 9001-2000”. Other facilities include a laboratory to undertake destructive and non-destructive tests like PMI, IGC, MPI, die penetrating, micro structure analysis, tensile testing, hardness testing and impact testing, etc. The lab is approved by EIL and all the major third party inspectors like DNV, BVIS, Lloyds, EIL, IBR, etc., are visiting regularly for 3rd party inspections.
