Steel Casting

Steel Casting is the most versatile cast metal which is readily weldable. The other cast metals either are not weldable or are weldable only by special techniques that are often not satisfactory for industrial applications. Cast steel offers a wide range of properties exhibiting high strength with toughness, endurance, and ductility values exceeding anything that can be obtained by any other cast metal. Cast steel is the only material for the high stresses of dynamic loading in fatigue and impact. Cast steel is machinable, and it may be alloyed for excellent resistance to corrosion, heat, and abrasive conditions.
