Akilesh Foundry manufactures Precision investment castings. Investment castings offer many advantages over the other costly methods of manufacturing castings. Adopting this process for engineering products is mainly for cost saving. Advantages of Precision Castings: Unlimited flexibility in design; Complex shapes - Miniature and large parts with holes, grooves, undercuts and any other difficult configuration; close dimensional tolerance and excellent as cast surface finish; cast one part in place of assembly of several components; reduction in costly machining and fabrication work by reducing casting weight; and lowest tooling cost. The photograph shown here is of some of the miniature castings. The company can offer larger castings up to 15 kg in any castable metal and alloys.
