No-Bake- Foundry Core Resins

Furcol no-bake resins are high quality foundry sand core/ mould-making resins that are faster, superior, smoother and more economical because of excellent finish for castings, needing lesser allowances and specifying greater tolerance limits; over 95% of the used sand can be reused/recovered; setting time can be within minutes to hours, as per needs in room temperature conditions, leading to heating systems facilitating less porous castings; easy shake-out without damage; high thermal shock resistance, helping in obviating high thermally-initiated casting defects; and essentially rejectfree, clean, high-finish castings. Furcol resins are available in two viscosity grades: low-viscosity medium speed setting and medium-viscosity high speed setting. Other grades can be developed as per needs. Setting time can be within 1/2 hr and the resin loadings can be as low as 1% to 2% of sand weight. The sand weight can be lesser than that for conventional systems.
