Iron/ductile iron castings

A K P Foundries manufactures grey iron and ductile iron castings. These include gear case covers, pump bodies, shafts, bearing housings, pistons, connecting rods and manifolds. The capacity is 2400 metric tonnes per year, soon to be expanded to 3000 tonnes. The company is ISO 9002 company certified by RWTUV (Germany). As part of expansion plan, installation of spectrometer is also on the anvil. The company has Inductotherm make 500 kg capacity, 450 kW medium frequency induction furnace; and modern testing facilities for sand and physical, chemical and metallurgical properties of castings to meet international quality standards. Products include SG iron castings like manifolds, pulleys, connecting rods, crankshafts and valves, weights ranging from 1 kg to 150 kgs.
