Hollow Forgings

Forgemen India, a manufacturer of heavy, light and open dia steel forgings, offers a range of hollow forgings, forged gears and rings. Established in 1980, the company makes these forgings in carbon steel (EN-9, EN-8, CL- 1 to CL- 4, etc), alloy steel (EN-19, EN-24, EN-353, 20 MNCr 5, etc), and stainless steel (300 and 400 series). The company’s forge shop is equipped with 3 steam hammers of maximum capacity 6 tonnes. The machine shop is fully equipped with latest technology machines, i.e., VTL machines, lathes and cutting machines with 24-hour backup electricity. It has testing facilities fully equipped with all the instruments necessary such as ultrasonic testing, hardening and tempering, chemical testing, normalizing, annealing, etc. The total range of forged items includes: rolls, gears, gear-blanks, round-bar, rings, crank-shaft, pinions, sprockets, spindles, hollow forgings, blocks, rectangular sleeves, etc., from 200 dia to 2000 dia, weight from 25 kg to 5500 kg (single piece), and all types of customised forgings as per drawings.
