Castings from 1 kg to 100 kg/piece, conforming to national and international standards, viz., ISO, BS, ASTM and DIN, are manufactured by Sonali Castings. Established in the year 1977, the company is one of the leading manufacturers of grey iron and ductile iron castings in Hyderabad, and is recognised for its high quality castings for various industrial applications. Manufacturing facilities include: two pairs of ARPA-300 simultaneous jolts squeeze moulding machines, one pair of ARPA 450 simultaneous jolt squeeze moulding machines, can accommodate moulding boxes from sizes 500 x 500 mm to 650 x 650 mm with 150 to 300 mm height; fully mechanised sand pit with the automatic sand preparation which consists of knockout, belt conveyor, OBMS; core shop with facilities to make oil sand cores and baking ovens, cold box core shooter core shooter and all the necessary equipments to make quality cores; a pair of 350 kW, 500 kg batch type, medium frequency induction furnaces for melting operations; a cupola of 1.5 tonnes of liquid metal/hour capacity to enhance the melting capacities with duplexing process; and metal quality is ensured with the modern lab attached, with online instant CE analyser, digital temperature measuring instruments.
