Castings

Gujarat Technocasting is a manufacturer of quality castings. The company is well equipped with in-house facilities, mainly: two medium frequency induction furnaces with 300 kg, 1000 kg, 1000 kg and 2000 kg crucibles; DIP type immersion pyrometer for checking temperature of liquid metal; chemical analysis laboratory equipped with arc spark spectrometer ARL 3560 Fe and Ni Base, wet analysis laboratory and IGC testing; physical testing laboratory equipped with universal testing machine, impact testing machine with profile projector and sub zero temperature testing, hardness testing machine and metallurgical microscope; NDT testings like magnetic particle inspection machine 1500 A, ultrasonic testing machine, radiography testing and DP testing; sand testing laboratory, 72" turn table shot blasting machine, heat treatment furnaces with water quenching tank and time/temperature recorder and controllers; adequate number of swing frame grinders, flexible shaft grinders and pencil point grinders; fully equipped sand plant, molding and pattern shops; and dimensional checking facility. Castings are manufactured in all grades of CS, SS, alloy, manganese, HRCS, low alloy, high alloy, hi chrome, hastelloy B and C, HH, HK, high nickel alloy having 3000 kg and single piece castings with radiographic/ultrasonic quality. These are made as per IS, BS, DIN or ASTM: A standards. The foundry is approved by Indian Boiler Regulation Board (IBR) and also certified by Lloyd"s, EIL, PDIL, BV, DNV, BAX Council, H&G, etc, allied inspection agencies.
