Casting, Machining, Forging, Sheet Metal & Surface Treatment Processes

Casting:
Gayetri Group can Cast a wide range of non-ferrous metals and alloys. The non ferrous castings are made by pressure die-casting, gravity casting and sand casting depending on the end-use and the volumes required. The die casting machines range in capacity from 60 tons to 200 tons. The company can produce components from 14gm (0.5 oz) to 5kg (12 pounds) in gravity casting and can undertake pressure die-casting up to 1.5 Kg.

Machining:
Machining is an integral part of the manufacture of all metal products. Machine tools are used with a sharp cutting tool to mechanically cut the material to achieve the desired shapes. The products are supplied in fully machined condition in close tolerances of both ferrous and non- ferrous materials. The machining capacity for turning goes up to 300mm in diameter and 500mm in turning length.

Forging:
Gayetri Group has employed non-ferrous closed die-forgings made on 400 tons to 600 tons screw presses since 1990. Hammer with power press (25 tons to 250 tons capacity) can forge metal parts from 100gms per piece to 10kg (22 pounds). 

Sheet Metal:
Sheet Metal is used in metalworking; it can be cut and bent into a variety of different shapes. Countless everyday objects are also constructed from sheet metal. Thickness can vary significantly and sheet metal is available as flat pieces or as a coiled strip. 

Surface Treatment:
A product requires Surface Treatment to improve its natural qualities like appearance, adhesion, corrosion resistance, tarnish resistance, chemical resistance, and hardness. Gayetri Group offers Surface Treatment such as Anodising, Phosphating and Plating.
